hello,

I have no display while bootup. I installed a new hard drive and loaded windows xp. Everthing was smooth. Then I put cdrom and hard drive in their final locations tighten up the screws. Then when I started up the pc, I get no display at all. No beeps whatsoever to give me a hint. Checked all connections again. No luck..

Any ideas ????

Thanks
Caco

Is this a new built system? I'm confused by what you wrote here. You loaded windows XP which means you could see a display, but after you tightened up the hard drive and CD rom it went blank?
Well make sure all the connections are good. Go into BIOS and check if you can. Make sure that video card is pushed in tightly. Also make sure that your hard drive and cd rom have the right settings (slave, master, etc.)

sorry for the confusion. Between having the display and tightening up the hard drive, I shut down the pc. No display when I started it back up again.

Anyway the issue is resolved. The cpu got loose I guess during the tightening up process.

Thanks
