i wanna know how to delete permanent internet history files :?:

on your internet browser go to tools, internet options and then go from there, or you can download a program that does it also.

Very carefully:

go to dos prompt: start/programs/MS-DOS prompt

This will not work on Win2000.

type deltree /y c:\windows\history

make sure you type the whole line because if you type deltree /y c:\windows it will delete your windows folder and all folders/files beneath it. The /y does all this without prompts, so if you're unsure, the omit the /y part of the command line.

afterwards, type EXIT to return to windows.

Ps: sub history with tempor~1 to remove all temp internet files; sub cookies for history to remove all cookies. The folders will be deleted, but windows repairs that immediately with no prompts or problems.
