First of all does the fan in the power supply start up?
Second if you have a voltmeter, you can test various plugs from your power supply like the P1 connector for the motherboard, and then the one for your hard drive. Do this by disconnecting all of the plugs except the motherboard. If the motherboard has power, then move on to the next one by plugging in the hard drive and then etc., until everything seems to have power.
Third, it may sound stupid, but make sure you have AC power coming into your computer.
Does anything run on your computer? Does it say anything on the monitor? Can you get into your BIOS? Probably not.
Hopefully that helps. If not, please reply.

I've never really shopped for a voltmeter, but I'm sure you can get one at a hardware store like Home Depot. Analog or Digital will work fine. It should also be much cheaper than buying more computer hardware. :)

The only way to tell as far as I know is to replace it. :( Do you get any beeps when the computer starts from the internal speaker at all?

One way to tell if the CPU is fried, is to take off the heatsink and fan and look at the top of the CPU. If it looks like it is black and burnt, it's fried.
It it isn't then you need to clean all the thermal compund off and reinstall it.

CPU isn't black it's silvery, I get no beeps from internal speaker, so i think my motherboard fried which i have no reason why it did. Im going to get a new motherboard. Thanks for your help.
