I recently purchased a 512 memory chip to upgrade my computer. I have put them in the before so I thought it wouldn't be a big deal. I took the old out and placed the new one in ... the computer screen was all scrambled when I turned it on! I took the new out and replaced the old but it still was scrambled. After it sits a minute, it goes back to normal but it sill messes up. When it boots up, there is a long beep immediately followed by a short beep. I don't know the diagnostics anymore so if anyone could help me ... let me know. Thanks
