OUT OF THE TWO CHOICES OF DDR RAM AND RDRAM, WHICH IS BETTER?

1) DDR Ram is you best choice.

2) Although RDRAM is faster than DDR, it is about 40% more expensive. Also Intel has dropped it except for in their severs.

DDR ram is fast and cheap. It also works with both AMD and Intel. RDRAM only works with Intel.

SO in my opinion go with DDR Ram.

One note on RAM. SDRAM is 168 pins and DDR SDRAM is 184 pins making it useless on a SDRAM motherboard. DDR SDRAM is twice as fast as the system clock, DDR=Double Data Rate. So DDR SDRAM comes in two speeds that I know of, 200 MHZ and 266 MHZ doubling 100 MHZ or 133 MHZ speeds of system clocks. SDRAM is usually 100 MHZ or 133 MHZ.
