Are you willling to lose all the information on your hard drive? If so, then you can reformat. First you need a bootable floppy. If you don't have one you can make one in the Add/remove programs applet in the control panel. I'm going to assume you have Windows 95/98/or ME. Otherwise the process is different for XP, NT and 2000.
Boot to you floppy and run A:\FDISK. IF you don't know how to run FDISK, let me know. It will take a lot of typing. Make sure you choose large disk support which means you want FAT32. If you answer no, you will get FAT16 which will only allow partitions up to 2.1GB. After you choose everything you want in FDISK, reboot to your floppy once again and type FORMAT C:\S.
If you need me to go into more detail let me know.
